Average Starting Pay Range for entry level machinists $17.55 - $28.00, higher level machinists can earn more! 30% Weekend Shift Premium Friday through Sunday 5:00 am to 5:30 pm. PTO upon hire, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits are offered after 90 days of employment, 401K after 6 months Job Functions Performs advanced setup operations Adjusts and checks out programming Operates CNC machine tools to perform complex series of progressive machining operations on a diverse line of work Check parts for conformance to specifications May run more than one unit simultaneously This is a direct-hire opportunity. Qualifications High School Diploma Associate’s degree in Machine Tool preferred Specific evidence of supervisory training Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in related position in the machine tool industry Job Shop or Prototype experience, experience with cranes and hoists Experience in machining for a very diverse industry base like: Mining, Aviation, Defense, Rail, Shipbuilding, Heavy Equipment, Gas & Oil and Machine Building Experience in machining large and complex work Ability to work from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications Knowledge of GD&T and ISO 9001 Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
