Capitol Clinic - 675 W. Washington Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin, United States of America Clinic Manager The Clinic Manager is responsible for organizing, directing, and managing the primary care operations at assigned GHC‑SCW primary care clinics. The Clinic Manager directly supervises the RN Team Coordinator, RN Care Team Specialist, and Patient Care Technicians at their respective clinic locations. The position functions in a collaborative leadership role with the Clinic Medical Director and Reception Team Supervisor to ensure a balanced, productive, quality‑driven clinical practice that is financially responsible to the members of GHC‑SCW. The Clinic Manager supervises daily staffing, customer service, and financial performance of the clinic and collaborates with other department managers and staff to address operational issues. The Clinic Manager supports GHC‑SCW community relationships that enhance clinic visibility, increase market share, and anticipate market changes in collaboration with Marketing, Member Services, Quality Management, and other administrative departments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Business, or a relevant field or equivalent educational training with practice management experience. Five years of progressive management experience in a clinic practice setting; experience in a similar sized/modeled managed care organization is preferred. Valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse License (if a nurse). Valid CPR/AED certification, obtained within four months of employment. Valid Wisconsin driver license with good driving record and/or ability to provide own transportation to various work locations, as required. Collaborating with the Clinic Medical Director and Reception Team Leader to effectively manage day‑to‑day clinic operations. Creating a positive team environment and demonstrating leadership ability. Assessing and understanding physician practice management and clinic operations. Resource Utilization and Financial Accountability Strong project management and analytical abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Suite and electronic medical record systems such as EPIC. Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and controlling department budgets and clinic productivity. Continuous monitoring of workflow to ensure prudent use of staff resources. Quality Initiatives Monitoring professionalism, skill, and teamwork of the assigned Patient Care Services staff. Promoting practice standardization and workflow efficiencies. Facilitating teams and project maintenance with a focus on measurement in process change. Participating in quality projects and making decisions that continually improve member service. Professional Growth Participating in continuing education and reviewing new trends and techniques. Collegiality Interacting professionally with colleagues, providers, senior leadership, and members. Contributing to a supportive work environment conducive to learning.
