Registered Nurse CVOR

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Charge RN for a CVOR unit specializing in cardiovascular surgery. The role involves leading clinical operations, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating multidisciplinary team efforts during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with unit policies and patient care standards.
• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff, facilitating effective teamwork and communication.
• Oversee patient care delivery for complex cardiovascular cases, including CABG, AVR, MVR, and TAVR procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other providers to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Participate in on-call duties, providing support during after-hours and emergency situations.

Qualifications:

• Current KS RN license with active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year hospital CVOR RN experience in a similar clinical setting.
• Proven charge nurse or leadership experience in a CVOR unit.
• Strong communication skills and a confident, team-oriented personality.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR and open heart procedures is preferred.
