Supply Chain Analyst

North Carolina ASCS 327 W Tremont Ave #418 Charlotte, NC 28203, USA The Supply Chain Analyst/Channel Manager will continuously evaluate the client’s supply chain flows, making recommendations for improvement based on data analysis and interactions with client and internal Armada stakeholders. This position will be a member of the account-facing team responsible for interfacing with the client on a variety of issues. RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with multiple client purchasing and supply management teams on opportunities to optimize transportation and distribution Support product category bids through landed-cost optimization analysis Develop pricing and minimum order parameters on freight lanes to ensure cost/revenue alignment Coordinate communication of execution plans and changes across multiple internal and external teams Generate reports of business activity to distribute to client and internal teams Utilize Armada’s 24TRACC technology platform to execute supply chain business processes Ensure the health of the client’s freight variance account by collaborating with Finance and Transportation Operations and performing root‑cause analysis; work with appropriate parties to remedy adverse financial results Ensure data synchronization between client’s catalog, distribution partners and internal planning and operations teams Build and maintain internal and client relationships Consistently communicate and demonstrate the value of our partnership with the client QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience Requirement Minimum: Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics or equivalent business experience. 3-5 years experience in Transportation, Warehousing, and Inventory Management 3-5 years experience with data analysis Preferred: Experience developing and/or utilizing logistics-related modeling tools Experience with data visualization tools such as Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, Qlikview is a plus Language and Technical Skills requirement Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) with internal/external clients Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access. Knowledge in SQL and ability to program Macros (VBA) is a plus. Ability to aggregate, manipulate, and automate data Data-driven, fact-based, detail-oriented approach to analysis and problem solving Strong project management skills and ability to work independently within a team environment Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
