Work Environment\n This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in both work location and hours, provided that patient needs are met. Our team collaborates closely to create a cohesive and supportive atmosphere that emphasizes professional development and quality care. The typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required as needed based on client appointments. Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' histories and formulate appropriate treatment strategies. \n Design and implement individualized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery and enhancing resilience, catering to the specific needs of each client. \n Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to aid clients in processing their traumas. \n Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in developing effective coping strategies and fostering a healing process. \n Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary team members to provide integrated care, ensuring clients receive holistic support. \n Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, prioritizing client safety. \n Educate clients and their support systems about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their understanding and empowerment. \n Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient management. \n Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices. \n Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually refine and enhance therapeutic interventions. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Our practice primarily serves individuals who have experienced significant trauma, including but not limited to PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our therapists are committed to creating a respectful, empathetic, and safe environment for all clients as they navigate their healing journeys. Qualifications\n \n A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California. \n Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders, as well as trauma-informed treatment modalities and resilience-building strategies. \n Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to therapy. \n Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and willingness to engage in continuous learning. \n Preferred Experience\n \n A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting is preferred. \n Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions that align with our mission and methodologies. \n Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations, ensuring effective support for clients during crises. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
