Laboratory Technician

Position SummaryThe Laboratory Technician is responsible for processing customer samples throughout various stages of laboratory operations while following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards. This role supports sample receipt, preparation, DNA extraction, assay execution, data generation, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Laboratory Technician plays an important role in maintaining operational efficiency, data quality, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess, store, track, and dispose of customer samples in accordance with laboratory procedures and quality standards. (75%)Maintain laboratory inventory and supplies by monitoring stock levels and supporting replenishment activities. (5%)Perform routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting to ensure uninterrupted laboratory operations. (5%)Document and report deviations, non-conformances, and unexpected results in accordance with CAPA and quality management procedures. (5%)Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing laboratory processes, efficiency, quality, and productivity. (5%)Support additional laboratory and operational activities as assigned by laboratory leadership.
