Benefit coverage begins on day 1!1st shift position. Current 1st shift hours are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday-Friday. Starting Salary for this position is $18.50 + How will you make a difference?You will be responsible for assembling and disassembling assembly parts, as well as having the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the operations in an industrial setting. You will make a difference by being a team player and have great listening and communication skills.What do we want to know about you?High School Graduate or GED.1+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.Must possess the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the assembly operations in an industrial setting.Must have good listening and communication skills.Able to work well with others to be a good team player.What will your typical day look like?Assist in daily 5s and cleaning procedures.Assists others in obtaining solutions to quality and production issues.Other duties as may be required or assigned.Assemble, test, and inspect according to engineering drawings and test codesWork with electrical and mechanical equipmentDisassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble equipment that does not pass the test.Maintain assembly and test equipment as required.Move material to and from the workstation by hand, cart, and crane as required.Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping.What about the physical demands of the job?The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee will work in areas exposed to production activities including but not limited to production machinery, assembly operations, overhead crane usage, and forklift traffic.
