HIRING IMMEDIATELY: FORKLIFT OPERATOR IN JOLIET, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Forklift Operator to join our team in Joliet, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for moving freight, stocking, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles or containers by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment. The ideal candidate will possess reliable attendance, attention to detail and good follow-up skills, and the ability to read and interpret general business documents. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Starting at $21 to $22/hour
- Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
- Full time: 1st and 2nd shift opportunties
- Located in Joliet, Illinois
Duties and Responsibilities
- Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, or delivery vehicles or containers by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.
- Operate hand and power tools when needed to support outbound blocking and bracing to load out containers.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
- Control and maintain all records required for accurate, on-time completion of shipments.
- Work in a team environment to accomplish work assignments.
- Periodically use computers, email, scanners, and the warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory, create paperwork, or document reporting.
- Support and promote company core values.
- Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
