Our precision-manufactured components are also used for defense, med tech, and heavy industry purposes around the world, in large part because of the people behind our products.The CNC Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery used to produce wire and cable products. This position involves inspecting products for quality, maintaining accurate production records, and ensuring materials meet customer specifications. The operator must follow established safety and production standards while maintaining an organized work area and meeting production goals.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Operating and monitoring CNC manufacturing machinery to produce wire and cable products according to specifications.Inspecting materials and finished products for quality, quantity, appearance, dimensions, and other required specifications.Reading and following work orders, production instructions, pick lists, and other documentation.Identifying production issues, machine malfunctions, and quality concerns and reporting them to supervision.Making appropriate machine adjustments as trained and authorized to maintain product quality and production efficiency.Maintaining accurate, legible, and timely production records and documentation.Following all safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment.Maintaining a clean and organized work area by following daily housekeeping, preventive maintenance, and foreign object debris (FOD) standards.Handling materials and finished products safely and placing products in designated areas.Working with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and customer requirements.Following company policies, quality standards, and established operating procedures.Participating in required training, including safety and job-specific training.Performing other duties as assigned.Essential knowledge and skills include:Mechanical and technical skills: Ability to learn and operate manufacturing machinery, understand basic machine functions, and recognize when equipment is not operating properly.Attention to detail: Ability to follow specifications, inspect products carefully, identify defects, and maintain consistent quality.Analytical and reasoning ability: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, identify production issues, and respond appropriately to changing priorities.Mathematical skills: Ability to perform basic calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals and understand measurements and production quantities.Communication skills: Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation in English.
