Park Area Ambassador (Seasonal, Janitorial) | SeaWorld San Diego

Seasonal Position – Park Area Ambassador At SeaWorld we are passionate about caring for animals and providing guests with joy, excitement, and lasting memories. We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard‑working individuals to become our Ambassadors. We are not accepting J‑1 Visa students at this time and do not sponsor visas at our park. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of their interview and will be required to provide proof of work authorization upon hire. Key Responsibilities Interact with guests in a positive, professional manner. Maintain general cleanliness, organization, and quality of park facilities, including all park areas and office buildings. Perform janitorial services: trash removal, sweeping, mopping, hosing, cobweb removal, storage room cleaning, dumpster cleaning, and hard floor/carpet cleaning. Perform park prep services: removal/disposal, product stocking, special projects, and placement/removal of umbrellas, tables, trash cans, benches, urns, and dispensers. Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, including supplies such as paper products and soap. Report any maintenance concerns to leadership in a timely manner. Qualifications & Requirements Must be at least 16 years of age. Ability to initiate conversations with guests. Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform extensive walking, standing, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching overhead, and fine hand manipulation tasks. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, including extreme heat and cold. Must provide flexible, consistent availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards. Ability to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements within established timelines. Must be authorized to work in the United States; all candidates must provide proof of work authorization. Availability & Hours Seasonal role; up to 40 hours per week, varying schedules. Ambassadors must have 5 days of unrestricted availability, including both weekend days during the peak season. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation $17.75 per hour.
