Ideal Candidates: Licensed attorney in good standing (any U.S. state). 3–5+ years of experience in real estate law, contracts, title, or related practice areas. Enterprising mindset with a desire to grow a business, not just a caseload. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Responsibilities Understand all legal aspects of the clients’ desired outcome and circumstances to provide them with sound legal advice. Conduct detailed due diligence, and inspect title examination, closing binder, and legal documents for legal risk, completion, and accuracy. Negotiate real estate transaction terms and conditions, and facilitate the transfer of title between borrowers, real estate agents, and title company. Qualifications J.D. (Juris Doctorate) degree required from an accredited law school. Relevant knowledge of property management, land use, title insurance, business law, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation. Be a member of your local bar association and hold a current law license in the state. Three years of experience as corporate counsel for a real estate development firm, as a transactional attorney, or as a residential or commercial real estate attorney.
