Visit us at brixpaving.com. Key Responsibilities Operate asphalt paver screeds to achieve proper grade, slope, depth, and smoothness. Adjust screed controls to meet project specifications and surface requirements. Work closely with the paver operator, foreman, and paving crew to maintain consistent asphalt flow. Monitor mat quality and make real‐time adjustments as needed. Perform daily inspections and basic preventative maintenance on screed equipment. Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards. Follow all DOT, OSHA, environmental, and company safety procedures. Work flexible hours, including daytime, nighttime, and weekend shifts as required by project schedules. Maintain a respectful, team‑oriented, and safety‑focused work environment. Qualifications Prior experience operating asphalt screeds required. Strong understanding of asphalt paving processes, grades, and tolerances. Ability to read and follow project plans and specifications. Class A CDL preferred but not required. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and extended hours when needed. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to safety.
