CNA w/ Telemetry Technician

The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. This position will remain open until filled. San Luis Valley is seeking CNA's to join our Med/Surg team. This position will cross-train to provide support as a Telemetry Tech and Ward Clerk. Under supervision this position will complete routine duties in caring for hospitalized patients. Duties may vary depending on assigned area. What You'll Need: High School Diploma or GED Current Colorado CNA license Current Basic Life Support certification Ability to communicate effectively, presenting information and responding to questions from patients, other staff members and groups of managers Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to move quickly and efficiently among various tasks What You'll Do: Answering call lights Direct care of patients including bathing and oral hygiene Servicing and collecting food trays and feeding patients requiring help.
