Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) and Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) are needed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This position is based at a Level III Trauma Center with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The healthcare organization requires candidates to bring their license on the first day and is seeking professionals with experience in interventional radiology procedures and patient monitoring.

Job Details:

• Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS for RN; ARRT, BLS for RT(R)
  • Education Requirements: RN: Valid RN license in Wisconsin, RT(R): Valid RT (R) license, both with BLS; RN with ACLS preferred
  • Experience with adult IR procedures, sedation administration, and charting
  • New graduates with minimal experience (0 years) are eligible
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with General Interventional Radiology cases, EPIC electronic medical record system experience (preferred for RN), and proficiency with Siemens or GE equipment is beneficial
• Additional Information:
  • Approximately 40-50 patients seen daily
  • No floating requirement
  • Parking is provided in a free parking structure with badge access
  • No holidays currently scheduled, but subject to change and could involve call responsibilities
  • Orientation includes 1-2 weeks with a preceptor
  • Responsibilities include scrubbing and angiography procedures, patient monitoring, and charting
  • Support staff includes receptionists, lead techs, tech specialists, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and CNAs
  • Equipment used includes IV pumps, medication dispensing systems, PACS, and imaging equipment from Siemens and GE. Experience with injector MedRad and other ultrasound or laser equipment is a plus
  • On-call hours for RN and RT(R) typically range from early morning until late afternoon, with some flexibility in shift times
  • Response time expected is within 30 minutes
