In this role, the Associate will provide direct supervision and care for children, including engaging them in age-appropriate activities, assisting with meals and snacks, and supporting basic routines such as playtime, learning, and rest. The Associate will maintain a clean, safe environment, follow safety and health guidelines, and observe children’s behavior to identify any concerns or needs. Daily responsibilities also include communicating with parents or guardians, documenting relevant information about the child’s day, and collaborating with other team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service. The Associate may help with scheduling, basic administrative tasks, and other duties as needed to support smooth operations.\nQualifications\n\n\n Experience working with children in childcare, education, or related settings, with strong skills in supervision and engagement.\n Knowledge of basic child safety, health, and emergency procedures, including the ability to follow established protocols.\n Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, families, and colleagues.\n Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities and maintain a structured daily routine.\n High level of reliability, professionalism, and ethical conduct, including respect for diverse families and backgrounds.\n Ability to work on-site full time in Flagstaff, AZ, including flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends as needed.\n Previous babysitting, daycare, or youth program experience is preferred; CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.\n Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or coursework in early childhood development is beneficial.\n
