Make a meaningful difference in a student's journey by providing essential support as a bilingual paraprofessional in a life skills classroom. This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to work closely with an 8th-grade ESL student, serving as an essential connection between the student and their teacher throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Your expertise in both Spanish and English will empower the student to reach their full potential academically and personally.

What you'll bring:

• Fluency in Spanish and English to facilitate clear communication in an educational setting
• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a support role within schools preferred
• Understanding of life skills and ability to adapt instruction based on student needs
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome language barriers
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff in a diverse environment

Your role will include:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to an ESL student, translating between English and Spanish as needed
• Supporting classroom activities and individualized education plans in a life skills setting
• Encouraging student independence while reinforcing daily routines and essential life skills
• Helping to track progress and provide feedback to educators to support student achievement
• Maintaining confidentiality and a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
