Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule: Night Shift

Assignment Details:

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington or active Multi-State license
• American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or educational equivalent
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric course (ENPC)
• Ability to float if needed

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Assess patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the appropriate medical staff.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and care procedures.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in accordance with facility policies.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
