As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.94 - $19.94 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations. Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements. Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site personnel, Allied Universal leadership, and responding emergency services as needed. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
