Pharmacists at Hannaford Supermarkets play a vital role in ensuring customers receive prompt and courteous service and assistance. They help prepare prescriptions, maintain pharmacy records, and ensure timely delivery of prescriptions. Pharmacists also assist in maintaining pharmacy inventory, adhering to state and federal laws, and supporting company safety standards. They must have excellent communication and customer service skills, strong keyboard skills, effective time management, and the ability to multi-task in a stressful environment. Pharmacists should also be able to work with minimal supervision, prioritize multiple minor projects, and maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance. They must be able to stand for long periods, use computers and pharmacy equipment, handle containers and pills, and lift up to 20 lbs. Physical requirements include frequent bending, reaching, and lifting. The salary range is between $21.80 - $29.00 hourly.
