We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel position. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional care for patients in a variety of settings.
Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as per physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, adjusting as necessary.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding respiratory care and management.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient assessments and treatments.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy.
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and New Mexico state licensure.
- Experience with pediatric and neonate patients is required.
- Willingness to obtain NRP certification before or immediately after starting the role.
Shift Information
This position involves rotating shifts, including days and nights.
Duration
The contract length for this position is 13 weeks.
