Quality Control Coordinator MEP

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and protocols for construction projects. Ensure projects comply with relevant industry quality standards and regulations. Conduct regular quality inspections, audits, and verifications at construction sites to identify and rectify quality issues. Collaborate with contractors to establish and maintain quality standards and ensure adherence to project specifications. Generate and maintain regular quality control reports and updates for senior management and project teams. Communicate with project teams to address quality concerns and provide guidance on quality standards. Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop strategies to enhance overall project quality. Attend work during normal business hours and complete other duties as assigned. Knowledge & Skills Required In-depth understanding of construction project lifecycles, methodologies, and practices. Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and building codes related to construction quality control. Comprehensive understanding of construction quality control standards and industry best practices. Proficiency in project management software and documentation management tools. Strong problem‑solving skills to address and resolve quality‑related challenges. Ability to analyze data from inspections and audits, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Organizational skills to manage quality programs across multiple projects. Effective time‑management skills to meet project deadlines and uphold quality standards. Meticulous attention to detail for identifying quality issues, non‑conformances, and discrepancies. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality. Preferred Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). At least 2+ years of experience in construction quality control with a track record of successful project delivery. Preferred certification: OSHA 30.
