Core Responsibilities Conduct asbestos, lead-based paint, and other hazardous materials surveys. C ollect environmental and personal samples and prepare them for laboratory analysis. P rovide asbestos and lead-based paint oversight during remediation. P repare field notes, photographs, sample location maps, and chain-of-custody documents; record survey data on approved forms. Pr epare reports detailing survey and project methodology, results, and recommendations Use, calibrate, maintain, clean, and download data from standard field equipment and instruments. Implement health and safety policies, follow company directives and standards, and maintain knowledge of regulations and industry trends. Communicate with project managers, staff, clients, and contractors; participate in training; drive company or rental vehicles; travel as required; work off-hours and weekends when needed. You’ll thrive here if you Required DOSH CSST or CAC and CDPH Lead-Related Construction certifications. Valid driver’s license with ability to pass DISA drug/alcohol testing. Associate, Bachelor’s degree, or certificate in a related field preferred; field experience may substitute for education. Experience with asbestos, lead, mold surveys, exposure assessments, and hazardous materials oversight. Ability to wear PPE, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong technical inspection and technical writing skills; proficient in Microsoft applications. Knowledge of industrial hygiene/building science equipment, protocols, and applicable regulations. Northern California location with reliable transportation and ability to travel locally up to 50%. About the Job Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: $34 - $43 hourly rate The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
