Oncology Development Executive - San Diego

Labcorp seeks a field-based Oncology Development Executive for the San Diego territory to drive business growth and expand adoption of oncology diagnostics and precision medicine solutions. The role combines business development, strategic account management, and clinical expertise to support healthcare organizations in implementing diagnostic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive new business acquisition, competitive conversion, and revenue growth within assigned territory
• Build and manage relationships with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders across oncology practices and health systems
• Develop and execute territory strategies to increase adoption of Labcorp's oncology and precision medicine testing solutions
• Translate clinical evidence and oncology diagnostics knowledge into business-focused recommendations and account growth plans
• Partner with cross-functional teams including medical affairs, operations, and market access to support growth initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field plus 5 years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5 years of business development, territory management, or strategic account management experience
• 5 years of oncology sales, diagnostics, molecular testing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or precision medicine commercial experience
• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and demonstrated cold-calling and territory management skills
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to travel up to 75% within territory
• Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills for complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles
• Master's degree in MBA, Public Health, Life Sciences, or Healthcare Administration preferred

Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 base salary plus commission
