Field Application EngineerLocation: Leetsdale, PA Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $67,000.00 Work Model: Onsite – onsiteResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, and repair equipment or systems in line with technical specifications and safety requirementsCarry out routine maintenance and inspections to keep equipment running at peak performanceDiagnose technical problems and identify effective solutionsSupport customers with technical guidance related to equipment operation and repairKeep accurate documentation of service visits, repairs performed, and parts consumedAdhere to applicable industry regulations and internal proceduresCoordinate with customers and internal teams throughout the service processSupport assembly operations and routine testing of products deployed in field applicationsPartner with product and sales teams to resolve field issues, clarify customer needs, and supply technical product informationRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical) requiredMinimum two (2) years of experience in field service, maintenance, or equipment installation requiredExperience with hydraulic systems preferredProficiency with hand and power tools requiredMinimum two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) requiredKnowledge of fluid power systems preferredManufacturing environment experience preferredDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems requiredSolid mechanical and electrical aptitude requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving capability requiredCapable of managing workload independently requiredFamiliarity with hydraulic filtration systems and fluid power components preferredExperience with diagnostic tools and software preferredValid driver's license requiredValid passport preferredCertified Fluid Power – Hydraulic Specialist certification preferred; willingness to obtain requiredRegular travel required (including driving), with overnight travel 2–3 nights per weekSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
