Details Fully remote work setting supporting a hospital's absence management team Part-time schedule at 20 hours per week, 8-hour shifts Manages an assigned caseload of leave of absence, workers' compensation, and accommodation cases Coordinates with a third-party administrator to ensure compliant and timely case resolution Flexibility to work nights and weekends may be required 14-week assignment length Requirements Active MA RN license required Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required Minimum of two years of relevant work experience required Experience with FMLA, PFML, out-of-state statutory leaves, or workers' compensation preferred Kronos and Workday experience preferred Thorough knowledge of federal and state leave/disability regulations and ADA compliance requirements Strong computer skills in MS Office, including data entry and spreadsheet proficiency Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Strong customer service skills including empathy, compassion, and patience Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Additional Information Serves as primary point of contact for employees navigating leave, disability, and workers' compensation processes Coordinates with HR, Safety, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Managers on case management activities Tracks and maintains records for work-related injuries and absences, preparing periodic reports on trends Educates managers and employees on leave, accommodation, and workers' compensation procedures Participates in monthly and quarterly claims review meetings with third-party administrators Maintains sensitivity to confidential records while managing caseload efficiently Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility Local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-751050.
