Radiology / Cardiology - Nuclear Medicine TechWhittier, CA, 90602, United StatesJob DescriptionPIH Health Whittier is looking for Nuclear Medicine/ PET Tech 4x10's- 0700-1730*Performs nuclear medicine and PET exams maintaining maximal patient safety and comfort. Exams include all parts of the vasculature structures and organ systems* (Physical and environmental demands below)*REQUIRED:- State of California DHS License (N) (R)- ARRT certification (N) and/or NMTCB certification- Two (2) years training in an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology- CPR/BLS: American Heart Association- Two (2) years' experience in a hospital setting performing nuclear medicine technology with fusion imaging.- Transport patients are requiredSKILLS REQUIRED:- Technical skills in nuclear medicine technology- Technical skills in computed tomography- Knowledge of all vasculature and organ systems- Skilled in the use of radioisotopes- Basic patient care and assessment techniques- Knowledgeable in ALARA, radiation physics, radiation biology, radiation protection and medical terminology.- High degree of accuracy in radioisotope exposure techniquesPreferred:- ARRT certification (CT)- Bilingual skills in Spanish/Chinese preferred.Job Type: Travel NursePay Rate: 0/hrWeekly Pay: 0Gross Weekly Pay: 1939Lodging (Hourly): 33.43M&IE (Hourly): 15.05GSA (Hourly): 48.48Lodging (Weekly): 1337M&IE (Weekly): 602GSA (Weekly): 1939Lodging (Daily): 191M&IE (Daily): 86GSA (Daily): 27710 hrs Day Shift | 6:00 AM | 4:00 PM | 40About CompanyWe at Bestica believe our success is a direct result of hard work and outstanding employee dedication.
