Temporary Patient Services Coordinator (A1474760CC) Middleton, Massachusetts Salary: USD22 - USD22 per hour Our client, a growing home healthcare organization, is seeking a Temporary Patient Services Coordinator to join their team in Middleton, MA. This hybrid opportunity offers $22/hour, is expected to last 3+ months, and follows a Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule. This position serves as a key liaison between patients, clinicians, and office staff, coordinating high-volume scheduling activities while supporting day-to-day administrative operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage patient visits, referrals, and clinician schedules to ensure continuity of care and proper staffing coverage. Prepare and maintain weekly and weekend schedules while communicating changes and updates to clinical staff. Monitor caseloads, scheduling needs, and staffing levels, escalating concerns to leadership as needed. Serve as a primary contact for scheduling inquiries from patients and clinicians, resolving issues and routing clinical questions appropriately. Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and supporting office operations. Assist with onboarding activities, orientation preparation, and administrative support for new hires. Perform data entry, reporting, records management, inventory tracking, and other administrative duties. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies. Candidate Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred. At least 1 year of healthcare administrative, medical office, scheduling, or administrative assistant experience. Experience with high-volume scheduling and care coordination in a healthcare environment strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work closely with clinicians, patients, and internal teams.
