Job Responsibilities / Duties

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform inspections according to specifications, including:
  • Shipping and receiving inspections
  • AQL inspections of assembled products
  • Product inspections based on drawings, standards, and defined criteria
  • Verification of components for deviations using precision measuring instruments
• Create comprehensive inspection reports as required
• Review production rejects and work orders
• Maintain and manage the rework system per company procedures
• Follow all applicable internal procedures and protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company standards
• Perform material movements and transactions within ERP/MRP systems

Secondary Responsibilities

• Provide clerical and administrative support as needed
• Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) initiatives
• Assist with process audits and continuous improvement efforts
• Manage calibration control of gauges and tools
• Collect and record data for quality and operational purposes

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a similar role

Skills

• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook)
• Ability to interpret and apply established criteria and make sound judgments

Competencies

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Effective multitasking and time management skills

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours regularly
• Ability to lift:
  • 15 lbs regularly
  • 25 lbs occasionally
  • 50 lbs rarely
