Machinist (HAAS CNC Mill)

Pay: $20-25/hr (DOE)

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Friday, 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating HAAS CNC mills to produce high-quality precision components while meeting production and quality standards. The ideal candidate can work independently, read blueprints, perform machine setups and tool changes, and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy.

• Set up and operate HAAS CNC milling machines to produce precision machined components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments as needed.
• Run multiple CNC machines simultaneously while maintaining quality and productivity goals.
• Inspect parts using measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor machining issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in cross-training opportunities across departments and equipment.

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience, preferably in a milling environment.
• Experience setting up and operating HAAS CNC machines.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Experience working with tight tolerances and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to independently run multiple machines while maintaining quality standards.
• Lathe experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Work in a clean, organized machine shop alongside a skilled team of machinists and operators. The facility includes CNC mills, lathes, press brakes, turrets, laser equipment, and other advanced manufacturing machinery. You'll join a collaborative team that values quality, safety, and continuous improvement while providing the resources needed to succeed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Farmington, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
