Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitating individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, focusing on a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to diverse client backgrounds.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves individuals dealing with addiction and substance misuse challenges. Our clientele is diverse, with varying backgrounds and experiences, often presenting with additional mental health concerns such as trauma, depression, and anxiety. Counselors will work closely with clients experiencing emotional crises, providing critical interventions including trauma-related support and suicide prevention strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field, such as counseling, social work, or psychology, from an accredited institution.

• An active and independent LMHC license valid in the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n
