Print/Textile Designer

York Solutions is hiring a Print/Textile Designer. You will support internal print team on Women's Apparel project. This role will contribute to the development of seasonal prints across multiple women’s brands, supporting key categories including Swim, Sleep, Active, and RTW. Role will work closely with in-house designers and directors to bring trend-forward, brand-right artwork to life. Individual will have the technical experience to support the team with strike-offs, tech packs, and vendor communication. Location: 3 days per week onsite - Downtown Minneapolis, MN Responsibilities: Translate seasonal direction, mood boards, and briefs into original, brand-appropriate print concepts Create repeat and placement artwork across categories (all-over prints, graphics, engineered layouts, etc.) Execute detailed print files, including repeat building, color indexing, and scale exploration Prepare production-ready files for handoff to vendors, including layered PSDs, vector files, and repeat swatches Collaborate with internal print designers on revisions, feedback, and handoff Maintain consistency with aesthetic from design to final execution Work within set timelines and project milestones, often supporting multiple briefs at once Required Qualifications: 5+ years experience in textile or print design for apparel; mass retail experience strongly preferred Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills (especially Photoshop, Illustrator) Solid understanding of textile repeat building and production standards Ability to work with layered digital files and execute clean, organized handoffs Ability to create and manage tech packs and communicate with factories Fast, proactive communicator; comfortable working independently and within a team Availability for quick turnaround requests or 1–2 week project bursts Preferred Qualifications: NedGraphics skills is strongly preferred Benefits: York Solutions Offers a generous benefits package for eligible full-time employees: BCBS Medical with 3 Plans to choose from (PPO and High deductible PPO plans with Health Savings Program) Delta Dental plan with 2 free cleanings and insurance discounts Eye Med Vision with annual check-ups and discounts on lens Life and Accidental Death Insurance paid by company John Hancock 401(k) Retirement Plan with discretionary company match Voluntary Insurance programs such as: Hospital Indemnity, Identity Protection, Legal Insurance, Long Term Care, and Pet Insurance.
