Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Direct Primary Care Clinic
Locations: Covington, LA and Slidell, LA
Company: DPC Plus
Pay: $21–$24 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

DPC Plus is growing, and we are hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for both our Covington and Slidell clinics.

We are a Direct Primary Care organization built to create a better healthcare experience for patients, providers, and employers. Our model removes much of the interference, confusion, and frustration of traditional insurance-based healthcare and replaces it with relationship-based, accessible, practical care.

We are looking for LPNs who are dependable, compassionate, organized, and comfortable working in a growing company where every team member plays an important role in the patient experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care, can stay calm and professional in a busy clinic environment, and wants to be part of a team that is building something different.

Responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients and obtaining vitals
• Assisting providers with patient visits and clinical procedures
• Administering injections and medications within scope
• Starting and assisting with IV therapy, if qualified and within scope
• Performing blood draws and specimen collection
• Performing point-of-care testing
• Assisting with wound care, minor procedures, and urgent care-type visits
• Documenting accurately in the electronic health record
• Communicating with patients by phone, portal, or text platform
• Assisting with medication refills, follow-up items, and care coordination
• Helping maintain exam rooms, supplies, medications, and clinic flow
• Supporting a high-quality, personal patient experience
• Working closely with providers, panel partners, and leadership to solve problems and improve systems

What we are looking for:

• Active Louisiana LPN license in good standing
• Strong communication and patient-service skills
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems
• Willingness to take ownership of tasks and help improve clinic workflows
• Positive, solution-focused mindset
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, family medicine, internal medicine, or outpatient clinic settings preferred
• Acute care experience is highly valued
• Proficiency with IVs and blood draws is highly valued

Schedule:

Compensation:

$21–$24 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, clinical skill set, and fit for the role.
