This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients while providing front-desk and administrative support to the medical team.The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Responsibilities:Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming mannerAnswer, screen, and route incoming phone callsSchedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointmentsCollect and verify patient demographic and insurance informationUpdate patient information within the electronic medical record systemAssist with patient registration and intake documentationCollect copays and process patient payments as neededRespond to patient questions and provide general information regarding appointments and office proceduresCommunicate with clinical staff regarding patient arrivals, scheduling concerns, and other needsScan, file, and maintain accurate patient documentationProcess incoming and outgoing correspondence, faxes, and medical records requestsMaintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirementsKeep the reception and waiting areas organized and professionalProvide additional administrative support to the medical office as needed
