Senior Territory Manager

Position Summary Responsible for a territory of direct dealer Shell branded gasoline locations in Orange and Los Angeles Counties. Key Responsibilities Manage the commercial business relationship with existing customers to enhance MPC’s position as a preferred supplier. Maintain positive customer relationships, conduct face‑to‑face meetings, and promptly address customer concerns. Communicate industry issues, market conditions, and updates regarding MPC products, services and policies. Develop and implement strategies to increase MPC market share and grow commercial value in new and existing markets. Lead and/or participate in sales and marketing initiatives, program execution, and promote new product offerings that create value. Regularly conduct strategic review of all contracts and negotiate favorable contract renewals that add value. Facilitate contract administration in accordance with internal policies. Prospect new customer accounts as well as develop new business within existing customer relationships with a goal of enhancing corporate value. Collect and share market intelligence to benefit decision making for internal business partners. Actively participate in industry associations, conferences, and customer events. Identify and implement business process improvement ideas that create internal process efficiencies and/or reduce transactional or administrative costs for customers. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Six (6) or more years of industry‑related experience required. Location & Salary Location: Home – California.
