Desired Skills/Experience:

• Must be a solid troubleshooter with excellent user support skills and a positive attitude towards servicing users (customer service/tech support); Proven proficiency with analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software problems; Note: Internal User Technical Support will be an ongoing/daily part of this role.
• Experience supporting an ERP Software Package (such as SAP, MS Dynamics, JDEdwards, Oracle ERP or similar)
• Should be well versed in most of the following: Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Windows Server (including Exchange [and Outlook email config and support], Active Directory, DNS, DHCP); Azure, Intune and Entra are pluses
• Windows Scripting in PowerShell or Windows Batch (Linux Bash Scripting is a plus).
• SQL Server Database connectivity to servers
• Past or Present Cisco Networking Skills (basic switch and router configuration); a CCNA is a plus
• Experience with VMWare or Hyper-V connectivity and support.
• Experience with SAN NAS iSCSI Storage systems and Management (catalogic, HPE, EMC, etc.)
• Desire and Ability to seek out and maintain current state-of-the-art knowledge in both technological and business areas.
• Advanced Training and-or Certification in Network Administration with a Windows Focus, A CompTIA Network+ Certification is preferred

Pluses:

• Imaging and Connectivity experience using Hyper V (hyperV) and/or VmWare; Experience with or willingness to learn AZURE Cloud.
• Basic or advanced experience with Linux Network and Server Administration: Bash and Command Line interfacing, users/groups, permissions, LVM, SELinux/AppArmor, patching, Linux monitoring and logging
• Recent training, study, certification or current ‘re-training/re-certification': Linux, Windows or Cisco, CCNA, MCSE, MCP, MCPIT.
• Experience Supporting Internal ERP Type Software is a strong plus
