$50,000 - $60,000 yearly base depending on experience + Commission, with expected annual earnings of $100,000+

Jackson, TN | Full-Time 40-45+ Hours per Week | Flexible Schedule with Occasional Evenings & Weekends

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management experience
• 2+ years of outside sales experience
• HVAC, mechanical contracting, or construction industry background is a plus
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Estimating, scheduling, and job costing knowledge is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
• Ability to review plans, specifications, and technical documents is a plus

Key Position Responsibilities

Client Partnership

• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Understand client goals and recommend effective solutions
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and project scopes
• Maintain communication throughout every phase of the project
• Create an exceptional customer experience that leads to repeat business

Project Leadership

• Oversee multiple projects from planning through completion
• Coordinate scheduling, materials, labor, and project timelines
• Monitor budgets and maintain project profitability
• Anticipate challenges and implement solutions before they impact progress
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet quality expectations

Business Growth

• Develop new business opportunities through referrals and networking
• Follow up on proposals and customer inquiries
• Strengthen long-term client partnerships that contribute to company growth
• Represent Matlock Mechanical with professionalism and integrity

Project Completion

• Verify all documentation is complete and accurate
• Confirm customer satisfaction before project closeout
• Resolve warranty items and outstanding concerns promptly
• Maintain organized project records for future success
