Package Operators
The Job Center Staffing is hiring associates on 1st shift for Package Operators currently in the Cincinnati area. This will be a short-term assignment.
Compensation/Shift/Benefits for Package Operators
- Hourly wage: $15.25 hr
- Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:30am-4pm
- Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO
- Eligibility for the Work and Win program Rent/Mortgage paid for a year
Responsibilities for Package Operators
- Package a variety of products according to customer specifications.
- Review work orders to determine packaging requirements.
- Inspect products for defects and transfer defective items to the appropriate location.
- Perform manual weighing and counting of products.
- Load products into packaging machines and monitor equipment for proper operation.
- Unload and inspect packaged products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Place packaged products into boxes and apply identification labels.
- Accurately complete required departmental paperwork.
Requirements for Package Operators
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to meet productivity expectations and complete work in a timely manner.
