Title: Product Manager, Air Moving Systems (North America) Location: Charlotte Metro Area, North Carolina (Remote with Travel and Hybrid Options Available) Reports to: Global Director of Engineering The Position Our client is seeking a technical engineering lead for the North American market, partnering with customers to develop and support airflow solutions while expanding business in Data Center Cooling, agriculture, carwash, and HVAC OEM applications. Working closely with a global Product Management and Product Development organization, the position bridges customer needs with engineering, bringing market insight back to the business while supporting a globally standardized product portfolio. Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical engineering interface for customers and OEM partners in the North American market, ensuring accurate application selection and design-in support Support customer projects from initial inquiry through production release, including design-in, design-win, validation, and implementation phases Provide technical training and application guidance to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure proper product understanding and use Act as the key technical escalation point for customer complaints, product issues, and application-related challenges, coordinating resolution with internal teams Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to identify risks, opportunities, and new application areas Conduct structured market and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities across new and existing segments Identify and develop new market segments and application opportunities across OEM customers, integrators, consultants, and industry partners Build and maintain strong technical and commercial relationships with key stakeholders across the value chain to support long-term growth initiatives Gather, document, and translate customer and market requirements into structured inputs for global product development teams Support the development of product requirement specifications, business cases, and improvement proposals based on market feedback Represent regional market needs to global engineering and production teams, ensuring alignment on requirements, standardization, and scalability Support forecasting and capacity planning by providing market-driven input on demand trends and customer requirements Assist in product launch activities including market validation, pilot programs, and regional commercialization efforts Develop and deliver technical sales and marketing materials to support go-to-market execution and customer adoption Provide product and application training for customers and sales partners during launches and ongoing product lifecycle Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to present technologies, gather market intelligence, and build networks Qualifications Mechanical Engineering academic background, MBA a plus 5-10+ years Experience working in metal fabrication-related industries, ideally supporting HVAC, industrial, agriculture, or food applications (including Data Centers) Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization with multiple reporting lines and global stakeholders Strong technical foundation with the ability to interface between customers, sales, operations, and engineering teams Demonstrated ability to support application engineering, customer-facing problem-solving and technical discussions, and cross-functional product collaboration #J-18808-Ljbffr
