Working as an integral part of an integrated FAA program team, you will analyze business objectives, financial data, program requirements, and existing business processes to identify gaps, develop actionable recommendations, and support process improvements. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical, financial, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with Government Program Managers and key stakeholders.Roles and Responsibilities:Financial & Budgetary Analysis: Provide financial, budgetary, and program-management analysis to FAA programs and Program Management Offices (PMOs). Support annual/multi-year budget formulation, planning, execution, forecasting, and reconciliation.Funding & Obligation Tracking: Track Facilities & Equipment (F&E) and Operations (OPS) funding, obligations, expenditures, available balances, carryover, shortfalls, and Unliquidated Obligations (UDOs). Develop program spend plans, forecasts, and burn-rate analyses.Acquisition & Procurement Support: Assist with acquisition and funding actions including Purchase Requisitions, Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), Interagency Agreements, and Statements of Work (SOWs).Process Improvement & Modeling: Analyze business objectives and processes, identify performance gaps, document requirements, and support modernization initiatives, data modeling, and best-practice adoption.Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination: Prepare financial reports, management briefings, and decision-support materials. Support Financial Management Reviews, Monthly Program Reviews, and Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.Required Qualifications:Experience: 6 to 10 years of relevant professional experience consistent with the SETIS Business Analyst labor-category definition.Education: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Management, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or Business Administration. Note on Substitutions: 5 years of relevant experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree; a master's degree/MBA substitutes for the degree and 3 years of experience; a Ph.D. substitutes for the degree and 7 years of experience.Technical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (financial analysis, pivot tables, forecasting, and reconciliation).
