If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.Job Summary:The Associate Principal Scientist provides scientific leadership in in vitro and in vivo metabolism and biotransformation studies, with a primary focus on mass spectrometry data interpretation, metabolite profiling, and rapid, high‑quality reporting to support drug discovery and development programs.What You’ll Be Doing:Independently analyze, interpret, and report MS and MS/MS data from in vitro and in vivo metabolism studiesDevelop, implement, and troubleshoot analytical methods for metabolite identification and profilingAssign metabolite structures and propose metabolic pathways using sound scientific judgmentManage study flow to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery of reports in a fast‑paced, high‑throughput environmentServe as a scientific resource for complex data interpretation, assay development, and problem solvingCollaborate with project teams and interact with clients to discuss scientific principles and study outcomesMentor and provide guidance to junior scientists and new team membersWhat We Are Looking For:PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or a related scientific discipline.In‑depth experience with drug metabolism and biotransformation, including metabolite profiling and structural elucidationStrong expertise in mass spectrometry, including MS and MS/MS data collection and interpretationHands‑on knowledge of analytical method development and troubleshooting for metabolism studiesOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeThe Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Ability to rapidly interpret complex data and produce clear, concise scientific reports under tight timelinesStrong understanding of ADME metabolism principles and high‑throughput discovery workflowsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage internal teams and clientsDemonstrated attention to detail, sound scientific judgment, and commitment to data qualityAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a production‑driven CRO environmentWhat We Offer You:We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
