Perinatal Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00). Requires every other weekend availability.

The Perinatal Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit, focusing on high-risk pregnancies and fetal heart monitoring. This position involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes during antepartum and postpartum phases, with responsibilities including circulating for C-sections and assisting with vaginal deliveries.

Provide care in 4 antepartum rooms, 9 labor/high-risk rooms, and 3 triage areas.

Monitor fetal heart rates and support patients with high-risk pregnancies.

Assist and circulate during C-sections and support vaginal deliveries.

Float to postpartum care as needed and provide couplet care for newborns and mothers.

Ensure patient privacy and comfort in a high-profile environment.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.

Current RN license (Compact license must be in hand at submission).

Certifications: AWHONN Advanced or NCC EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM.

Experience with the Epic charting system is mandatory.
