Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education with secondary endorsement and approval(s) in specific subject matter area(s) to be taught.
Job Summary:
The teacher will assist in providing a well-organized, fun and safe environment in which students can take full advantage of the online instructional program. The teacher should have experience working with students, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
The Alternative Classroom Teacher at South Central Calhoun will oversee students' online academic progress using the student learning platform, ensuring a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. They will grade assignments, support students with their completion of online courses and communicate with parents.

Additionally, we hold regular Students of Concern meetings, fostering open communication to stay informed about students' individual needs.
