3D Character Artist

Responsibilities Create game-ready stylized anime 3D character models and textures , translating concepts into appealing 3D forms while maintaining the intended proportions, silhouette, shape language, and visual identity. Create optimized character topology, UVs, materials, and textures suitable for real-time game development and character deformation . Collaborate effectively with artists, team leads, technical artists, designers, and other production teams to develop and integrate characters into the final playable product. Deliver work on time according to the production schedule while effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities. Actively participate in feedback and iteration, communicate proactively, and maintain a clear understanding of the project’s scope, visual direction, and production requirements. Requirements 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D Artist in the game development industry. Have a strong portfolio showcasing 3D character art skills, especially 3D anime characters. Practical experience with 3D Digital Content Creation software such as Blender, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag, or equivalent. You need to adapt to Blender for production pipeline in Agate. Able to create high-quality stylized characters with strong proportions, silhouettes, and simplified topology appropriate for real-time games. Strong understanding of game-ready character modeling , including topology, UVs, normal-map baking, optimization, and deformation requirements. Able to create stylized textures and materials using Substance Painter, Photoshop, Substance Designer, or equivalent, with strong control of color, value, material definition, and surface detail. Understand basic animation principles and character production workflows, with a proactive attitude toward communication, feedback, and collaboration. Willing to work in Agate Office Pluses Strong understanding and experience in stylized anime character art , including all of the technical requirements that are needed to achieve anime-like look with shaders. Having technical art skills to develop your own character shaders in blender and/or in-engine Proficiency in character rigging and 3D animation , including preparing characters for production and deformation. Full understanding of game art pipelines and real-time optimization , with experience integrating characters into Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar game engines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
