Medical Assistant
Temp-to-Hire (FLOAT)

Hours:

• Monday – Thursday 8:00a – 5:00p
• Friday 8:00a – 3:00p

Responsibilities:

• Accompany patients to exam rooms, prepare them for visits by taking vitals (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, etc.), and perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and spirometry
• Assist physicians and providers during various medical procedures and ensure exam rooms, instruments, and equipment are properly cleaned and sterilized between visits in accordance with infection control policies
• Accurately document medical, surgical, family, and social histories, current medications, and problem lists in EPIC while maintaining up-to-date patient records
• Efficiently manage and monitor the EPIC in-basket, promptly answer and return patient phone calls, and handle the transmission and abstraction of medical records

• Provide cross-functional support at the front desk when needed by greeting visitors, managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and scanning patient documents

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant certification
• OB/GYN experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must be willing to float between offices in New Rochelle and Rye Brook, NY

Compensation:

• Temp: $20-24

You will be entitled to health insurance once employed for 60 days and you must work 30 hours per week, on average, per month to enroll and maintain health insurance through Complete Staffing Solutions.
