Should know how to communicate with patients to put them at ease . Must be organized and have a good work ethic. Should know basic front desk jobs such as making appointments chairside. Completing procedures, inputting some notes for the doctors, and ICDT codes

Job Description

Assist the dentist chairside
Prepare and sterilize instruments
Take x-rays / know how to download, import, and export x-rays
Take dental information and update patient records
ensure treatment room is stocked and organized
place orders once a month
schedule patient appointment and manage patient flow

Shift & Schedule

Work hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 8:15 to 5:30, Thursday 930 to 6 pm, and one Saturday a month 9-3 pm
Should know how to work with Dentrix, Dexis, tooth and perio charting, and taking health histories in the computer.
