If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you're going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.About The OpportunityThe CAD Operator creates CAD files to be used directly with automated manufacturing equipment in the production of steel rule dies and associated tooling to aid in providing a high quality large format product, producing indoor and outdoor POP items.Essential FunctionsCreate CAD files to be used directly with automated manufacturing equipment in the production of steel rule dies and associated toolingCreate structural designs of folding cartons using CADPrepare structural prototypes, dimensioned drawings, manufacturing and use instructionsReview detailed order information and evaluate for machinability and production of toolingResearch specification, materials and application requirements for projects as neededClearly communicate information needed for manufacturing based on specific requirements of each jobCoordinate with outside suppliers as neededPerform other duties as assigned by management/supervisorsPerformance Measures and OutcomesAdherence to safety policies and proceduresQuality of workProduction goalsAdditional Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSafety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe mannerAbility to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the businessAbility to effectively work in teamsAbility to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and peopleAbility to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of rolesTwo companies, one vision.Menasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
