IT Project Manager

Role Description The Healthcare IT Project Manager is a full-time, onsite role based in the Boston, MA metropolitan area. The Project Manager reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications and is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and successfully delivering assigned projects in alignment with organizational and IS strategy, priorities, budget, timelines, and quality expectations. The projects assigned will be primarily application implementation/optimization/upgrades but could also include technology projects where needed. This is a high-visibility role that collaborates across clinical, operational, and technical teams, as well as with vendors and external partners. The Project Manager will lead both enterprise-wide initiatives and strategic organizational projects with significant technology components. The Project Manager serves as a facilitator and change agent, working within a matrix environment to build alignment, manage competing priorities, remove barriers, and drive projects from initiation through completion. The role requires the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels across multiple concurrent initiatives. Qualifications Required 3-5 years of experience managing projects in a clinical setting in health system. 5-7 years of experience working in healthcare information systems including project management. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Proficient in Project Management tools. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Preferred 5+ years leading project and change management initiatives in an inpatient and outpatient settings. 7 years of experience working in healthcare information systems including project management. PMP certification or working towards it. Lean and/or 6-σ certification or working towards it. M.S. or equivalent experience in Information Systems Management or related field. Experience in 24x7 environments. Experience with Meditech enterprise EHR. #J-18808-Ljbffr
