Position Type: Facilities and Grounds/ Custodian Date Posted: 7/1/2026 Location: Eastview High School Closing Date: 07/10/2026 Description 8 hours/day Monday- Friday 10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Position primarily in the Eastview High School Activity Center. Previous custodial and routine maintenance experience, preferred. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently. Must be physically qualified to perform assigned duties including lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis and display flexibility in cleaning assignments. Ability to communicate in a clear, positive manner with staff, students and the public. Must have a desire to work in a cooperative manner and team environment. Must have a good attendance record and be punctual. Must have positive work performance evaluations. Must not have any recent disciplinary actions. Must conduct a positive interview and receive a good reference from current and previous supervisors. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred. Responsibilities Clean building areas and perform minor repairs, routine maintenance and preventive maintenance as directed or required. Perform grounds maintenance, pick up trash, mow, pull/spray weeds, snow removal, etc. Comply with school recycling program. Move and assemble furniture, etc. Perform duties in a timely, neat, and efficient manner. Assist in securing the building during and at the end of shift. Ability to adjust hours to accommodate early or late programs, snow removal, etc. Responsible To Building Engineer Compensation / Benefits According to contractual agreement (based on 2026-27 contract): Custodian: $22.86 - 26.57 Hourly.
