Job Summary Provides program support for DoD ammunition/munition production programs through working collaboratively across different departments to manage projects/programs from initiation through completion, meet financial revenue, operating efficiency, and strategic goals, as well as regulatory requirements. Keeps all stakeholders informed of developments on the projects/programs covering the full range of the program's life cycle. *We are currently recruiting for Program Manager II and Program Manager III opportunities. Candidates who apply to these postings will be considered for either level based on their qualifications, relevant experience, interview assessment, and Total Rewards evaluations* General Profile Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment Essential Functions Has P&L responsibilities for a specific program. Implements and administers one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple programs or sub-programs. Executes programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or customers. Participates in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance. Promotes the program throughout the organization and tracks utilization. Supervises the work of program or project staff to ensure that work is completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications. Evaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics. Ensures that activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations. Provides reports and updates to senior management or other stakeholders. Required Qualifications Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree Discipline/Major: Business degree preferred Knowledge, skills & abilities: Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant project management certifications. Earned Value Management (EVM) experience. Professional contracting certifications at the state or national levels. Working knowledge of munitions: associated platforms, strategic and tactical systems, and military munitions/platform interface requirements. Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Travel Requirements Up to 25% travel likely.
