ABOUT OUR AGENCY: I opened my agency in 2014 and currently lead a team of five. Before becoming an agent, I worked as a State Farm team member, giving me firsthand experience with the business and a strong understanding of what it takes to succeed in an agency environment. I'm a graduate of the University of South Carolina and a proud husband and father of three boys.

Being involved in our community is a major priority for our agency. We proudly sponsor a variety of local organizations, including youth football, baseball, basketball, and cheerleading programs. We also support local schools, law enforcement, and other organizations that make a difference in our community.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Matt Gilliland - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
